Dimble had already squandered much of his family’s fortune on failed invention after failed invention before the Day of Mourning took the rest of it away. While the rest of his family settled into their new lives in New Cyre, Dimble was determined to make things right. He pushed on to Sharn, where he figured he could make his fortune and repay his debts to his family.

Dimble got to know House Sivis agent Glissando thanks to his family’s numerous missives inquiring about his health and the whereabouts of the money he kept promising to send them.

It was Dimble who put the idea of joining the Clifftop Adventurers’ Guild to his small circle of friends. They all seemed to want more out of life, and while being an adventurer came was dangerous, it could also be very lucrative.
